Happy Monday! I was feeling rather dark and mysterious for today's #ManiMonday. I think black nails are so chic and making them matte adds the perfect touch of girliness. Love it.
I used a simple, no name brand black polish and Essie's Matte about you as a top coat. I haven't felt an urge for matte nails in a very long time. As a matter of fact, my friend Hope completely reminded me of it. (Thanks girl!) I did experience a series of white dots appearing on my nails after using the matte coat. After reapplying multiple times, I finally gave up! Possibly because I purchased my bottle 2+ years ago? Either way, I still love this mani. Matte black nails are so fab! Until next time, toodles.
