January Favies

Birthday shenanigans officially start tonight so you know January has come and gone. I can't believe we're about to be in the second week of February. Slow down 2015. Slow downn!

January was the month of lipsticks and nail polish for me. I've been keeping two lipsticks and a lipstain in rotation since the holiday season began. First up is new love of my life Pansy from Lime Crime, a breathtaking almost neon purple velvetine. I just talked about it over in my birthday series so won't say much about it but omg! The color is truly perfect. Move over Melt By Starlight, Pansy may just be my new fave purple! ( Full post HERE ) Next up is M.A.C Honeylove. A nude lippie. So weird right? I'm more of a bold lip kinda girl. I actually wore this beauty for New Years and loved it! It's such a beautiful "my lips but better color". ( Full post HERE ) And of course my homie since day one M.A.C Riri Woo. Sigggh. I love her. I love her. I love her. The most perfect red lipstick everrr. ( Full post HERE ) These three are giving me so much life right now I just can't get enough! I find a neutral smokey eye looks best when wearing Honeylove so have been reaching for the coveted Naked 2 and 3 palettes. I adore them so much and am always finding myself reaching for them over others. True must haves! I've been completely obsessed with classic colors on the nails: nude, red and pink. Ever since the boo picked up Rouge Louboutin I've been even more into red nails than usual. Of course my fave is Essie She's Pampered. It has such a gorgeous pink undertone and looks absolutely stunning against my skin. ( Full post HERE )  I've been opting for my most perfect nude polish, Julianne's Nude 620 from L'Oreal Paris. Application is effortless and it lasts days before chipping. A dream! ( Full post HERE ) For birthday nails I wanted the color to be girly and flirty so decided on Rimmel London Posh Pink. It just so happens to be one of my fave pinks. Bright and bold! I've been wearing it a week from tomorrow and only minimal chipping. ( Full post HERE ) During the holidays I started wearing my fave perfume Chanel Mademoiselle again. It has such a lovely distinctive smell. So classy and feminine. I love it so much and haven't worn another in three years.

As I'm writing this I'm about to head out for my official bday dinner. I'll try my absolute hardest to try a new lippie but no guarantees ( haha ). What are some of your faves? Have a fab weekend! <3

Ashley
