I'm baaaaaack. Everyone and their mother has raved about the Anastasia Liquid Lipsticks. I'm always superrr late when it comes to products that create hype in the makeup world but I prefer to go at my own pace.Honestly I wasn't blown away by the color selection but after much contemplation I decided to jump on the bandwagon and picked up Vintage, a beautiful royal purple.
As you know, I'm all about statement lipsticks and Vintage completely delivers. The color is so unique and stunning and I'm pretty sure I have nothing similar in my collection. But I'm going to be honest it's not what I was expecting. From swatches I thought it would be a bit more vibrant but I still adore it nonetheless and I love the way it looks against my complexion.
The consistency is not too wet but instead very nice and creamy and it mattifies wonderfully as do most liquid lipsticks. It surprisingly lasted an amazingly ten plus hours without touchups. In fact I ate, drank and slept in this (oops) and upon wakening it was still intact. No lie. That speaks volumes! Vintage is bold, bad ass and has me written all over it. I'm impressed. I even may pick up Vamp yet another Anastasia Liquid Lipstick I've had my eye on.
