As I've gotten older I've become more conscious of my skin and have been making an effort to take better care of it. I have finally established a regular skincare regimen and figured what better time than now to share it with you?! I've never had problems with my skin besides the occasional breakout during that dreaded time of the month and I have found that using these fabulous products has helped my skin remain blemish free while giving it a more youthful glow.
As a daily face wash I have been using the Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser. I love this! (So much that I've been using it for over 6 years). I adore it's tingling feeling against my skin, how it fights off acne instantly, and how extremely affordable it is. This cleanser is a true HG item for me! I swear by it. As a recommendation from ThatGirlShaeXo, I started using The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. I love anything Tea Tree - just the smell alone is amazing! It's really great for cleaning any excess makeup off that my cleanser may have missed. I've been paying extra special attention to my under eyes and dark circles so I started using The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream. While it doesn't lighten my dark circles completely, this cream helps my skin appear brighter and helps to keep my under eyes gently moisturized. For nights full of nothing but tossing and turning and for days where I really need to get rid of that general "sleepy look", I use The Body Shop Unperfumed Under Eye Gel. I massage it onto the area under my eyes and the cooling effect helps to reduce some (not all) of the puffiness. I started using the Sisley Black Rose Cream mask once receiving it in my April Glossybox (Read the whole post HERE) and I must say - This mask is so divine! It has a very silky texture and after left to sink in all night, leaves my skin soft to the touch. I love it as an all over pick me up for my skin and use it two to three times a week. I've never had a problem with dry, cracking lips before but since I have a continued love affair with lipsticks, I wanted to do something a little more to ensure cracking or peeling does not exist. I started using the Etre Belle Liplift Peel, another luxurious item received in my April Glossybox. A few times a week I apply this like I would a lip balm and rinse it away after a few minutes. It makes my lips softer than normal. I absolutely love it. I've noticed I suffer from large pores lately, so I started using the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. This stuff is so fab! The packaging is beyond adorable, the texture is silky smooth, it actually "erases" my pores and is extremely affordable. What more could a girl ask for?! The Maybelline Clean Express! Makeup Remover has become my go to makeup remover for the past year or so. It instantly gets rid of both eye and lip makeup in just one easy swipe and doesn't leave a nasty leftover residue. And it lasts ages. It took me over 6 months to purchase a new bottle! Something I found to be pleasantly surprising.
