Anyway, I finally decided to take off those beautiful #redbottom nails. So today's mani is in Petrol, my first Butter London polish. It's a pretty shimmery duo-chrome lacquer that changes from purple to turquoise depending on the lighting.
I originally purchased it a very long time ago. To be honest I hated it then and I hate it now. The formula is extremely sheer and takes multiple coats (I'm talking four to five) to get the above application. Absurd. The color is stunning though just not as apparent as I originally expected. I do find Petrol looks best as an overcoat which is how I'll be rocking it in the future. If I decide to wear it again. Oh well. What may not work for me may work for you.
