March Favies

I'm baaaack. After being sick for the 1289375 time I am so happy to be saying good bye to winter and hey girl heyyy! to spring.

There's a new nude nail lacquer in town and I'm completely obsessed,  Essie Picked Perfect is a very sophisticated, natural looking and women of color friendly nude  It's my go-to at the moment. I love it. (Full post HERE) There were three lovely lipsticks in my life this month. I can't get enough. I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing two of them into summer. First up is oldie (but still goodie!) and my new bestie Dodgy Girl from the MAC X The Osbournes collection. A lavender pastel-ish color with a matte finish. Why in the world did I ever stop wearing this? It feels creamy and fabulous on the lips and is very true to color. Dodgy Girl is the bomb dot com. For real. I'm thinking about doing an updated post so look out for that until then you can check out my old post HERE. I've been dyinggg to get my hands on Nude from the Riri Hearts MAC collection for ages now and am so pleased to finally call it mine thanks to one of my girlfriends. It's a gorgeous chocolate brown color; the ultimate 90s lip for sure and a fast favorite. I'll definitely be rocking it on those late date nights with the boo. ( Full post HERE). After long consideration I also decided MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus was another necessity to the collection. It's such a pretty hot pink but very wearable,  amplified lipstick. And my obsession with pink lipsticks continues. I'm normally not a fan of glossy or frosty lipsticks but this lippie is so amazing. It was honestly love at first sight. (Full post HERE). If you read my last post you'd know I've finally found the most perfect, natural bronzer. Enter Too Faced Soul Mates Blush Bronzer  in Ross & Rachel. It warms my complexion while still sculpting my cheekbones in such a beautiful natural way. I am so in love. I'm thinking about getting a back up. It is that amazing. Seriously guys, you need this in your life. (Full post HERE). I've never found the need to use a primer under my concealer but as age is trying to catch up with me (I'm claiming 25 for life!), I've found it just makes life easier. I've opted for Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. I'll admit I purchased this a very, very long time ago and never paid it any mind but OMG I love it now. I've been using it for the past few weeks and I just find my concealer creases less. It allows my concealer to have a more natural dewy look as my dry skin easily makes makeup look cakey and overdone and for now is a beauty essential. What have you been loving lately?
