It's no secret I have a huge thing for bold lips. But sometimes, just sometimes I do like a more toned down and muted look.
So today I'm sharing my favorite my lips but better lipsticks. Cause there's nothing sexier than a dramatic smokey eye paired with a gorgeous nude lip. And everyone needs at least one they can throw in their makeup bag.

Wet N' Wild Mochalicious
Literally my first nude lipstick. It's a deep, mauve brown. I love that it's semi-matte, non-drying, and lasts hours. Not too shabby for a $1.99 drugstore lipstick, eh?
Sephora Cream Lipstain in 02 Beige
I probably shouldn't include this one since i think it might be discontinued now. Oops. But it's a really pretty pinkish deep beige matte color. I love the formula and the pigmentation is insane. I know a lot of people have issues with nude liquid lippies settling into the lines of your lips but I've never had any issues with this one. I love it and need to wear it more actually. MAC Bad Girl Riri
I promise I also didn't want to include this one since it's limited edition but I didn't have a choice haha. I love it so much omg. A beautiful matte taupey nude. I find it is just so easy to wear and suits my skin tone perfectly. Plus the packaging is so fierce. You get bonus points for that MAC. (Full post HERE)
ColourPop Stingraye
Of course ColourPop had to make some type of appearance haha. I love them. Stingraye was a lovely surprise. It's this gorgeous pink-ish nude that will literally suit every skin tone. This is one I can just throw on with a completely bare face and still look amazing. I did this the other day and I absolutely loved it! Another one I was originally going to pass and that I'm laughing at myself about. Love when that happens. Haha. Oh and I even hear it's a dupe for Jeffree Star Androgyny so there's that. ColourPop Tulle
I'll be honest I wasn't going to pick this baby up but I'm so pleased that I did cause it is fire. It's like this weird but so pretty reddish mauve brown color. It's easily the ideal nude for women of color. The hype is so real y'all. You need it. (lip swatch HERE)
ColourPop Chilly Chill
Wow I didn't realize most of them were by ColourPop. Anyway, Chilly Chill is a beautiful purple brown and it compliments my skin tone beautifully. And to be a liquid lipstick feels wonderful. More like a cream lip. (see a lip swatch HERE)
I'm not even going to lie this has easily become my go to every day nude lip. But you pretty much already knew that right?! ;) I like my nudes to be more on the brown side and Whirl is the most beautiful mix between brown and pink. I love it so very much. So much that I already have a backup and I need another one. If you don't have this by now you must be living under a rock. It's literally perfect. (Full post HERE)
