The hunt for the perfect mascara is forever ongoing.
It's no secret I have barely there lashes.
So I'm always down for trying something new.
Here's three that I'm currently testing out as I'll take all the help I can get thank you very much.
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara
I basically look for three key things in a mascara: volume, length and the blackest black. Very important. I am pleased to say this baby meets all of the above requirements. I find my lashes don't look clumpy or feel heavily coated after multiple coats. It lasts all freaking day and is so easy to use. One thing I will say I'm not a fan of though is the burning sensation I experience when applying this. I do have extremely sensitive eyes and the feeling does dissipate after a while. So I guess you can't completely blame the mascara or whatever. It's my first product from the brand and I must admit I'm so impressed. It's definitely my go to at the moment. Who knows I may even pick up a full size. I love it that much.
MAC False Lashes Extreme Black
I don't really notice much of a difference between the two MAC mascara's. But this one does provide that falsies look I always desire. And it does lengthen my lashes like crazy without looking clumpy. Can't say many mascaras can do that if I'm being honest so that's a plus. It's not the Bobbi Brown mascara but I can't even lie and say I don't like it. It gets the job done. But I don't understand the hype. *shrugs*
MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash
First things first. I absolutely love the brush! The bristles are amazing having the ability to reach every single lash. It separates them wonderfully too. An absolute must. This is another mascara you can easily layer without worrying about the spider lash look and getting clumpy. Unless that's your thing of course! I like it. But again, it's another MAC mascara that I don't quite understand the hype about. Whatevs.
