Covergirl TruBlend Matte Made Foundation (D10 Golden Caramel)

Hey guys. Did you miss me?

Lol.

I'm back with yet another foundation review.

Today I'm talking all about the *new* Covergirl Trublend Matte Made Foundation.

I finally found my shade at Walmart months ago so you already know I had to cop it.

Covergirl claims this foundation was designed to feel natural and breathable, without cracking for 12 hours.  It's pore minimizing,  has oil control, is transfer resistant and comes in 40 shades.

I picked up the shade d10 Golden Caramel.  Which we can assume has a golden/yellow undertone.  Something I'm really loving at the moment.

Ok so let's be real for a moment.

To be honest I cancelled Covergirl ages ago. But decided to give them another chance when they rebranded.

I'm all about giving second chances if it's genuine.

40 shades is great and all.

Don't get me wrong.

Kudos to Covergirl.

But I'm no longer going to be applauding brands for something that should've already been standard.  I mean, it's about to be 2019.  And while there may be 40 shades available, they still aren't as easily accessible for darker skinned beauties.  In my personal experience alone, I had to travel to four different stores to even find one brown/black shade.

A wide range should be kept in stores. We shouldn't always have to order offline.  Honestly that's just another form of discrimination.  And before you even try to come for me y'all,  3/4 stores were hood sooooo.  *eyeroll*

Wearing the Covergirl TruBlend Matte Made Foundation in the shade d10 Golden Caramel

Moving on.

I've been wearing this foundation on and off for a few months now and I must say I am so impressed.

It's pigmented, full coverage on me and applies beautifully.

It looks flawless on the skin, doesn't oxidize and blending is so easy!

I have super dry skin and it didn't cling to any dry patches, it doesn't emphasize texture or pores blah blah blah.  You know the drill.

There is a bit of a smell when first applied but if i remember correctly it eventually fades away.  Covergirl  claims this baby doesn't transfer but it does.  Lol.  Honestly I've never worn a foundation that doesn't transfer at least a little bit sooo no big deal.

Have you tried this foundation yet?  What are you waiting forrrrrrr!!! Haha.

PS I started a YouTube channel. More on that later!  :P
